The Copper Weight is the total thickness of copper on the surface of a PCB. There are several processes that effect the final copper thickness. It is measured in oz/ft². For example, 1 oz = a thickness of 12mil = 0.035mm = 35μm (micron). Like 1oz copper foil used to fabricate a multilayer board.
