Extra Press Cycles always applied for multi layer boards with blind vias and/or buried vias. A standard multi layer PCB passes one time through the pressing cycle. When producing multilayer circuit board with blind and/or buried vias, it can be required to pass a number of extra times through the pressing cycle. This is also called Sequential Buildup (SBU). These extra press cycles require an extra cost and lead time.
